Adoption is a hard thing to do. Yet, it may be good for you and your baby. Many mothers can choose an open adoption which allows them to be in their baby's life, or a closed adoption which is the biological mother not being in tha baby's life at all. Giving up your baby is rough due to not being able to play the mother role, risk of being judged, depression of missing important things, dealing with pregnancy and labor then not being able to take care of your baby, and worst of all is your baby growing resentful towards you. However, being a pregnant teenager is difficult. Adoption may help you accomplish goals, you can let another family raise your baby the right way, possibly in a way that you can't. You could be letting another family achieve something they had an extremely difficult time going through. You have the ability to choose the parents to raise your baby. You have the option of an open adoption.

Abortion

There are common reasons to having an abortion.However,there are disadvantages and advantages.Many teenage parents choose abortion because of financial problems,the mother does not want people knowing she had sex or got pregnant,health issues, immaturity problems, baby daddy drama, rape problems, or fear of not being able to raise a baby. The disadvantages include: feeling of regret or grief, lessening chances of children later in life, having to make that final decision. Missing the development of your baby, forever memory of taking a life, medical risks, and financial problems for the surgery. Some states need parental consent and you have to handle harsh judgement. The final decion is needed to be very quickly. Many teens choose abortion for the reasons of it being an alternative to pregnancy, parenting, birth, being in control of their body, option for women whose babies have medical issues, or option for women facing life threatening conditions.

Social Life

Teenage pregnancy is a difficult process to deal with, especially because of the teenage part. High school is a fun expirence to see crushes, fake friends, lots of memories, challenges, and opportunities. Being pregnant may affect these things. The unability to engage in social activities, risk of losing friends, depression to not being able to do fun activities, loneliness, and having much more responsibility.

Education

Teenage parents leave school for understandable reasons. Work,embarrassment,health problems,safety problems, or babysitting issues. They miss out on education which is very important to recieve a job.However, many options for education are available that includes: GED, Schools made for teen mothers, homeschooling, or online education.

Effects Of Pregnancy

The effects to teenage pregnancy are complicated. From dropping out of school to familial conflicts. Pregnancy is a hardship that includes lots of thinking and planning. You have dropping out of school, baby daddy drama, your children may become involved with gang related things to try and help out. You also have death,diseases,and familial conflicts. This all will affect you negatively and roughly.
